My artistic endeavor embodies a journey towards introspection and self-awareness.
The meticulous choice of the surrounding environment becomes crucial, acting as a catalyst that amplifies the sought-after state. I found my mind and soul remarkably clear in the stillness of the mornings, within the visually vibrant tableau, open to living and delving deeply and directly into reality.
I lingered upon the green mosses, which left a strong visual impression on me, and the fascinating details of the lichens. Although mosses and lichens are fundamentally different, they can coexist in diverse environments, giving rise to complex ecological landscapes.
Like these living organisms, humans are rooted in their environment, and the connection between their existence and the surroundings is essential. Resilience and durability, adaptability to change, slow and continuous growth, symbiosis and connection, fragility, and beauty in detail are shared traits that I strive to highlight.
Mosses and lichens will evolve into visual metaphors and symbols that encourage introspection and self-awareness. I have chosen to work exclusively with black and green pigmented porcelain, accented with gold, textures and organic forms, playing with volumes to propose a dynamic, profound and sometimes uncomfortable perspective, mirroring the human depts.
Additionally, I have incorporated subtle details made from recycled plastic to underscore the importance of our responsibility in preserving the authenticity of the environment.
All pieces retain the scent of the perfume essence extremely well. The main essence for this collection is Frankincence.
